Mordiford - 20th - 24th May 2019
We are SO excited about our partner schools coming to spend the week with us. We have lots of exciting things planned and Wye class prepared and introductory assembly for us and the parents. It told us all about the countries that will visit us and introduced us to some language.
Erasmus+ visit week
DISPLAYS -
The week finally arrived and we welcomed our partners to our school in rural Herefordshire, UK. The school was looking amazing with each country represented in a corridor display. The entrance path was decorated with chalk flags from each country too.

WELCOME ASSEMBLY -
The whole school was eagerly waiting for our visitors and parents on the playground. Year 4 children showed off their country dancing and KS1/EYFS pupils sang for them. We then moved into the hall where Year 5 told them all about Hereford and our school and choir ended the welcome with 2 beautifully sung songs. Rev. Moore blessed the whole school.

The teachers had some ICT/ipad training so they could see the apps and resources we use in our teaching and learning at school. On the Wednesday we had an amazing day out at The Black Country Museum in Dudley. All the visiting teachers, pupils and their hosts spent the day there looking at the Victorian houses and finding out about the way of life in that time. We also took part in an Victorian school lesson - slates, reciting tables and experiencing the cane!!
